We are creating future role models in execution
with trust, data and skill.
Our Story
There may be many legitimate reasons for starting a consulting company. Because you want to have fun at work. Because you want to make money, win awards or turn your competitors green with envy.
For us at Trice, the driving force is a wish to take part in positive change on a large scale. We want to be on the right side of history. We want to be involved and influence things that can make a difference.
We believe in our combination of digital excellence, business value creation and collaboration with clients who share the same passion for positive development.
The challenges of our time are large and complex. From wars and pandemics to cyber attacks and climate change. It's easy to get discouraged and lose energy. But it is not for us to give up. On the contrary. The more difficult the problem, the more energy we get.
Simply put: we exist because the world looks the way it does. Our superpower is to see the broader picture of an ongoing change, and to identify the decisive factors to find the right solution. We analyze our customers' vision and value potential, mainly from a digital perspective, focusing on competence, ability, technology development and healthy business.
Trice is a young consulting company that already has extensive assignments for several large and important organizations. Together, we want to contribute to positive development at both the public and private level. What’s good for our clients is what keeps us aiming higher with every new assignment. Our aim is to build a consultancy where we develop the best skills to support new digital solutions for our customers' most crucial business needs in the future.
Which is now.
Services
We know that to create change you need to understand the business problem you are trying to solve and how technology fits into the solution.
Digital Native Leadership
What does a product team look like that can really deliver on data driven products that your customers love?
We sat down with our team and shared notes on some interesting products we have been involved with at companies that are leaders in their segment. It starts with management having a clear strategy and direction with regards to the problem to solve. It is hard to use digital well if those skills are absent in the executive team and board. Communicate clear priorities and constraints.
Invest in leaders that can explain these priorities at all levels and set them up for success by adding a mix of experience and new talent to their teams.
Make sure to have deep technical skills but emphasize that business outcomes and delivery are valued over fancy technologies. Experiment and try again, awesome products often take a few attempts to get right. Do not put prestige in the first idea you have.
Change Management
What strategies should you use to achieve long-term success in program & change management?
Did you know? In instances of excellent change management, objectives were met or surpassed 93% of the time. Conversely, poor practices resulted in achieving this only 15% of the time.
Our approach to program and change management is well rooted in experience. We have seen the difference it makes when you prioritize transparent communication and engage stakeholders effectively. This promotes clarity, minimizes resistance, and ensures alignment towards shared goals. Cultivating adaptability and continuous improvement further strengthens the organization's ability to manage change, and to make changes that stick.
Technology Strategy
What about AI, software supply chain, cybersecurity or data platforms?
At Trice we can talk, and often do talk, for days about these and other technical topics. If needed, we can definitely help there. We always start with with looking at how technologies affect your business and build a strategy that supports your business goals. One that is using tools where they fit.
We are not here to sell you IT-systems or slides. We are here to help you succeed by implementing the first steps in the right direction. Every organization starts from a different place and saying that e.g. a specific AI tool is what you have to invest in will often lead down the wrong path. We aspire to set direction first and step by step use technology to get there effectively.
Cloud Transformation Journey
How can your organization make good use of cloud computing?
In our cloud computing discussions a strong shared opinion turned out to be avoiding large upfront projects to migrate everything or get with the latest technology. Understand what your needs are and build for the future. If you are new to the cloud, find one or two projects where using cloud services would have real business value. Bring in experienced leaders that know your business goals and have a pragmatic approach to building systems that support them. We have a few of those at Trice and we can help you identify internal potential and talent to hire.
Cloud transformation often takes a few years but that does not mean you should run it as one three year project. Build good examples with the help of pilot teams. Then scale.
